Why We Created This Community
Women across O&P bring so much experience, insight, and perspective to the industry - but we don’t always have many opportunities to connect with one another outside our own organizations.
Women in O&P was created to help change that. This is a place for women in every role - owners, clinicians, technicians, administrators, billers, and others - to build relationships, share ideas, learn from one another, and talk honestly about the challenges and opportunities we face.
There is no sales pitch and no expectation to have all the answers. We’re building this community together, based on what the women participating in it actually need.
How Our Gatherings Will Work
Each gathering is designed to create practical, honest conversation around topics chosen by the community.
Choose the Topic
Members submit ideas and help select the challenge or question the group will discuss.
Connect and Discuss
We’ll spend time connecting, then break into small groups to share experiences, talk through challenges, and gather practical ideas.
Share and Learn
We’ll come back together to share key takeaways. Occasionally, a guest speaker may also join us for a short, practical lesson.
